Guests are encouraged to enjoy a self-guided retreat experience while staying at Dragonfly. Wander the walking trail, meditate overlooking the river or in the labyrinth, make use of the fire pits or retreat to a hammock with your favorite book.
Although electricity is supplied to the cabins, this is a time to make use of the stillness and healing powers of nature. Unplug. Listen to birds and the breeze whispering through the grasses. Take time to journal, to read, to create art or write poetry. Be still and open to this time of reflection and renewal.
Your host can provide access to an ever expanding library of books suitable for a self-guided retreat. Or, if wished, guests can request the Dragonfly Healing Workbook with reflections, meditations, and activities intended to promote self-discovery.
Several body work and healing arts practitioners are based in the area and can meet guests at Dragonfly for private sessions (regular fees apply and must be arranged in advance). Please request a list of practitioners at time of booking.
Make the most of this time ‘away from it all” at your private retreat.
